Black Girl Support Group is an emerging media platform and cultural brand built around the lives, perspectives, and experiences of Black women.

BGSG may develop and operate social media channels, written content, podcasts, events, community initiatives, original media, and other creative projects.

BGSG.co serves as a central digital home for these activities.

You must be at least 13 years old to submit information, join the BGSG community, or otherwise use interactive features of BGSG.co. By using these features, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

Certain activities, services, events, purchases, or programs may have additional age or eligibility requirements.

You agree to use BGSG.co only for lawful purposes.

You may not:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website or its systems
• Interfere with the operation or security of the website
• Introduce malicious code, viruses, or other harmful material
• Scrape, harvest, or collect information from the website through unauthorized means
• Impersonate BGSG or another person
• Use the website to harass, threaten, abuse, or harm another person
• Submit fraudulent or intentionally misleading information
• Use the website to distribute spam or unsolicited commercial communications
• Attempt to circumvent security or access restrictions
• Use BGSG content or systems in a manner that infringes another person’s rights

Unless otherwise indicated, content appearing on BGSG.co—including text, logos, graphics, branding, photographs, videos, audio, editorial material, designs, and other materials—is owned by or licensed to BGSG and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may view and access BGSG content for personal, non-commercial use.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, publicly perform, sell, license, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit BGSG content without prior written permission, except where permitted by applicable law.

“Black Girl Support Group,” “BGSG,” associated logos, names, slogans, designs, and other brand elements may constitute trademarks, trade names, or other proprietary identifiers of BGSG.

You may not use BGSG branding in a way that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or affiliation without written authorization.

BGSG may provide opportunities for users to submit questions, topics, stories, ideas, podcast suggestions, guest suggestions, requests for advice, and other content.

You retain ownership of content you submit to BGSG, subject to the rights you grant below.

By submitting content to BGSG, you represent that:

• You own or otherwise have the necessary rights to submit the content
• Your submission does not knowingly infringe another person’s intellectual property or other rights
• Your submission does not unlawfully disclose another person’s confidential or private information
• You have the authority to provide any information you submit

Submitting content does not guarantee that BGSG will publish, discuss, feature, respond to, or otherwise use the submission.

By submitting content to BGSG, you grant BGSG a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, edit, publish, display, distribute, and otherwise use the submission for BGSG’s editorial, media, community, promotional, and related purposes, subject to any specific choices you make through the submission process and applicable law.

This may include use in:

• Social media content
• Podcasts
• Written or editorial content
• Videos
• Events
• Newsletters
• Websites
• Other BGSG media or promotional materials

Where a submission is specifically designated as anonymous, BGSG will make reasonable efforts not to identify the submitter in connection with the submission.

However, anonymous status does not guarantee that the information itself could never reveal the submitter’s identity.

You are responsible for the content you submit.

You agree not to submit content that:

• Is unlawful
• Infringes another person’s rights
• Contains malicious software
• Knowingly contains false or fraudulent information intended to cause harm
• Unlawfully exposes another person’s private information
• Violates another agreement or legal obligation applicable to you

BGSG may remove or decline to use any submission at its discretion.

BGSG may create opportunities for community participation through submissions, events, discussions, social media, podcasts, and other platforms.

BGSG does not guarantee that every submission, question, topic, opinion, or story will be featured or responded to.

BGSG may moderate, edit, decline, or remove submissions or other content when reasonably necessary to maintain the integrity, safety, or operation of BGSG.

Content submitted by users or shared through community features represents the views of the individual who submitted it and does not necessarily represent the views of BGSG.

BGSG does not endorse every opinion, statement, recommendation, or experience expressed by users or guests.

BGSG may produce podcasts, written content, videos, interviews, events, and other forms of media.

Content published by BGSG is provided for informational, editorial, entertainment, and cultural purposes.

Nothing on BGSG.co should be interpreted as professional medical, legal, financial, mental-health, or other professional advice unless expressly identified as such and provided by an appropriately qualified professional.

BGSG.co may contain links to third-party websites and services, including social media platforms, Substack, YouTube, podcast platforms, partner websites, and other services.

BGSG does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, security, availability, or terms of third-party websites.

Your use of third-party services is subject to the applicable third party’s own terms and policies.

BGSG may offer community membership or registration.

Membership may provide access to communications, community initiatives, events, content, or other opportunities determined by BGSG.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, submitting your information through a membership form does not create a paid subscription, contractual relationship, or guarantee of access to any particular service or benefit.

BGSG may modify, suspend, or discontinue membership features at any time.

If you choose to receive optional marketing or promotional communications from BGSG, you agree that BGSG may contact you through the communication method for which you have provided the appropriate consent.

Email communications may include newsletters, editorial content, project announcements, events, promotions, and other BGSG updates.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe mechanism included in the communication.

If BGSG offers SMS communications, additional consent requirements may apply.

Marketing text messages will only be sent where the required consent has been obtained.

You may revoke SMS consent at any time using the applicable opt-out method provided in the message, including “STOP” where supported.

Consent to receive marketing communications is not required as a condition of using BGSG.co.

BGSG may enter into partnerships, sponsorships, collaborations, advertising arrangements, or other commercial relationships with brands, organizations, creators, companies, and individuals.

The existence of a partnership or sponsorship does not necessarily mean that BGSG endorses every product, service, organization, or viewpoint associated with that relationship.

Where required, sponsored or advertising content will be identified in accordance with applicable law and platform requirements.

Press inquiries may be handled by BGSG or by BGSG’s public relations representative, Forte PR.

Information submitted through BGSG’s press inquiry process may be shared with Forte PR for purposes of responding to the inquiry.

BGSG respects the intellectual property rights of others.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BGSG and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, representatives, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of BGSG.co.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BGSG and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, representatives, affiliates, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from:

• Your use of BGSG.co
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of another person’s rights
• Content you submit to BGSG
• Your violation of applicable law

BGSG may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of BGSG.co, including features, content, membership functionality, forms, events, communications, or other services, at any time.

BGSG is not responsible for losses resulting from the modification, suspension, or discontinuation of any website feature.

BGSG may update these Terms from time to time.

When changes are made, the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will be updated.

Your continued use of BGSG.co after revised Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

These Terms will be governed by the laws applicable to BGSG and its operations, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Any dispute will be handled in a court or other forum with appropriate jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement governing your use of BGSG.co, except where additional terms apply to a particular service, event, promotion, or transaction.
